The Sitka Kayak Adventure

While in Sitka, Alaska, C.B. & I journeyed to a faraway cove to face the rigors of cold water kayaking off the shores of the Alaskan back country. We were in search of fame, fortune, and fowl, but actually all we saw were eagles and salmon. But the scenery? Absolutely fabulous! Shooting this video was extremely hazardous because of the fragile nature of the kayak, and the fact that C.B. kept rocking the kayak trying to light his cigar. Scared the fish away. But it was quiet and serene and really not all that cold (at least according to the natives). Watch closely and first you'll see a humpback sounding, then a couple of eagles high up in a tree. Wildness and wilderness, a oft repeated refrain when in search of Alaskan wildlife. Check it out at the Digitalshores Site.

Don't forget to check my other blog post at http://shagmiser.blogspot.com/ 'cause it's got some cool IM thoughts from Jim Daniels.

This is probably the last video post from our Alaskan Cruise (you wanna hold down that applause) so let us know what you think, or not! It was major fun filming and producing these various videos for "all you all."
